Ask BlazinAce. In this time of the year, it's summer in Brazil.

This city is nuts. No two ways about it. Swings to 26 one day and zero the next.

77 degrees? Ah, Fahrenheit. Off to google.

Ah, 25 degrees. That's like a nice summer day here. How hot are your actual summers?

Average of about 90 to 105. Plus usually somewhere around 90% humidity of most days.

Technically, there is a little piece of Canada that is SOUTH of me, so you'd have to be more specific!

:-P

Really? I don't think I'd be physically able to live there. I considered a week Barcelona with weather like that as more than I'm comfortable with. And that might be without the humidity, although I'm not sure about that.

You must be glad summer is over.

I'd guess a typical summer day in Louisiana is around 90-93 degrees F, so 32-34* C, with an additional heaping of supreme humidity thrown in there. At least that's my guess; I'm from Texas and I tend to lump Houston and Louisiana in together as far as climate goes. Dallas/Austin will average 35-37* C in the summer, with decent humidity but not nearly as bad as Houston/Louisiana.

Dallas has been flipping back and forth between beautiful 75 degree days and downright wintry conditions. To be honest, I kind of miss the cold right now, but it's about to come back and give us an ass-kicking.

The humidity is the worse part. I went to Las Vegas and it was 100 every day we were there, it was actually pretty nice. The humidity makes everything muggy and hard to breath. However I'm glad that I'm used to it now so that when I go teach in Japan in a couple of years I'll be adjusted already since we both have similar climate.

Yeah it's about the same here, though if it could stay in the high 40s and low 50s I'll be very appreciative.

Indeed. Approx 5,500 sq kms of Canada are to the south of Detroit. However I live in one of the remaining 9,979,170 sq kms.

Yup. There is always that great sign that says "North to USA". Hasn't been that cold here yet, but last year we had one day that -15F high temp. Good Lord, did that suck.

I remember when I was up at Michigan State in February (I think my Junior year), we had 10-14 days straight that weren't warmer than -20. windchill pushed into the -30's (F of course because I am a silly American). We had some crazy snow during that too, including Snow Thunder Storms which I had never seen before and thought was a sign of the apocalypse lol. It's really quite surprising how much less snow we get down by Detroit vs. 65 miles northwest in East Lansing.

Almost the same here in Shreveport. Walked outside at lunch and was like "what the...?" It was much cooler this morning. Nothing like using AC and heat in the same day.
